Diplo Revenge Porn Case Dismissed After Judge Orders Accuser to Reveal Identity
A revenge porn lawsuit against DJ Diplo has been voluntarily dismissed after the court ruled that the anonymous accuser must reveal their identity to proceed with the case.
The Jane Doe plaintiff, who filed the lawsuit containing revenge porn accusations, dropped the case "in its entirety" without specifying the reason for withdrawal. This decision came shortly after the judge's ruling that the accuser would need to disclose their identity to continue the legal proceedings.
The accuser had previously argued that revealing their identity would expose them to potential retaliation and privacy violations. The allegations dated back to 2016, and while the accuser had reported Diplo to the NYPD, the status of any related investigation remains unclear.

This dismissal marks another legal victory for the 46-year-old DJ, who recently settled a separate sexual assault dispute with Shelly Auguste. In that case, Diplo acknowledged having "a night of consensual sex" with Auguste while denying her assault claims.
Earlier, another sexual assault lawsuit against Diplo was withdrawn after he presented video evidence of the encounter in question. The plaintiff, reportedly a friend of Auguste's, expressed "regret" for filing the suit.
Currently, Diplo has not commented on the latest dismissal on social media. The DJ recently helped raise over $160,000 for the Los Angeles Fire Department and is scheduled to perform at several pre-Super Bowl events in New Orleans.
