Death Row Records Lawsuit: Snoop Dogg, Suge Knight Among Four Hit With $107M Legal Battle
Former Death Row Records executive Lydia Harris has filed a $107 million lawsuit against Snoop Dogg, Suge Knight, Lucian Grainge, and Jimmy Iovine, alleging fraud and unpaid judgments.

Harris, who claims to be Death Row Records' co-founder and first vice president, filed the lawsuit in Texas on Tuesday. The suit stems from an original $107 million judgment she won in 2005 regarding her and her husband Michael "Harry-O" Harris's role in founding the label.
The lawsuit alleges that:
- Knight and others concealed financial records
- Filed fraudulent motions
- Abused bankruptcy court to avoid payment
- No payments have been made in 20 years since the original judgment
The case origins trace back to the 1980s when Harry-O Harris invested $1.5 million in Death Row Records' launch for a promised 50% profit share. While Harry-O served a 28-year prison sentence, Knight allegedly became unresponsive, prompting Lydia Harris to pursue legal action.
Snoop Dogg, who acquired Death Row Records in 2022 from MNRK Music Group, is included in the lawsuit as the current owner. Harris claims Knight used "systematic misrepresentation and fraudulent telecommunications" to avoid paying her.
The lawsuit seeks:
- Punitive damages
- Recovery of owed assets
- Complete accounting of Death Row Records' finances
