Burke shared the news through an Instagram Reel, expressing that while the decision was bittersweet, the podcast has been one of the most rewarding experiences of her life. The podcast delved into behind-the-scenes stories of the NBC series, including professional dancer-celebrity relationships, showmances, and notable incidents such as Artem Chigvintsev's arrest last summer.
Addressing speculation about the podcast's intent, Burke emphasized that it was never meant to disparage the show. "My heart has always been in the right place," she stated, encouraging listeners to review previous episodes to understand the podcast's true purpose of truth-telling and connection.
Burke's history with "Dancing with the Stars" spans from Season 2 in 2006 through Season 31's finale in November 2022. She also notably replaced Abby Lee Miller on "Dance Moms" in 2017.
While the specific reason for the podcast's suspension remains undisclosed, Burke expressed gratitude to her supporters and affirmed that her love for the show "that shaped her" remains unchanged.
