Bria specializes in image generation through text-to-image models, offering brand-focused generative products, editing tools, and AI-powered marketing solutions. The company distinguishes itself through its "Multi-Modal Attribution Engine," which tracks training materials in AI outputs and ensures compensation for content creators.

Currently partnering with 30 data providers, including Getty Images and Freepix, Bria operates on a fully licensed data model. The company plans to expand its patented attribution technology beyond images to include music, video, and text generation.

According to Bria founder Yair Adato, this expansion aims to create a sustainable creative economy by facilitating responsible access to IP content while ensuring proper attribution and compensation for rightsholders.

This development follows recent AI licensing initiatives in the music industry, including:

  • Sony Music's lead investment in Vermillio's $16 million Series A
  • Musical AI's $1.5 million pre-seed funding
  • Universal Music's partnership with ProRata for per-use revenue sharing
