Making a grand entrance on horseback, Beyoncé performed eight tracks including "16 Carriages," "Blackbird," "American Requiem," "Ya Ya," "Spaghetti/Riverdance," "Levii's Jeans," "Jolene," and "Texas Hold 'Em." The show featured guest appearances from Post Malone, Shaboozey, Reyna Roberts, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, and Tiera Kennedy, with her daughter Blue Ivy Carter joining for a dance performance.
The show generated mixed reactions from viewers. While many praised the production value and performances, others criticized the country music interpretations and felt the show wasn't appropriate for Christmas Day. Notable controversy arose from Beyoncé's concluding gesture - a finger-gun pose atop a scaffold with a "Bang" banner beneath, which some noted contradicted NFL policies regarding similar gestures by players.
The performance, dubbed "Beyoncé Bowl" by fans, will be available as a standalone special on Netflix later this week.
