Rolling Loud California 2025 opened with A$AP Rocky making a dramatic entrance via helicopter, performing an unreleased track while suspended above the crowd. After his aerial entrance on the Don't Be Dumb branded helicopter, Rocky performed several hits including "A$AP Forever," "RIOT (Rowdy Pipe'n)," and "Tailor Swif." Skepta joined him for a performance of "Praise the Lord (Da Shine)."
The entrance appeared to reference Travis Scott's similar 2024 Rolling Loud entrance. Rocky's unreleased track, reportedly titled "All Black (Stole Ya Flow)," included lyrics seemingly directed at Scott: "First you stole my flow / So I stole your b*tch."
This performance marked Rocky's first show following his acquittal on felony assault charges involving former friend A$AP Relli. The case stemmed from a November 2021 incident where Rocky faced two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. While initial reports suggested a potential 24-year sentence, prosecutors ultimately sought eight years after Rocky reportedly declined a plea deal.
After his acquittal, Rocky expressed gratitude outside the Clara Shortridge Foltz Criminal Justice Center: "I really want to thank the jury for making the right decision. I'm just so thankful. This whole experience has been crazy for the past four years. But I am thankful nonetheless."
While the criminal case has concluded, Rocky still faces a pending civil defamation suit filed by Relli, which awaits a trial date.
